Travel Information:
Velden is located in the heart of the southern part of Austria, Carinthia, approximately 330 km from Vienna and 25 km from Klagenfurt, near to the Slovenian and Italian border. Protected from the Alps in the north, Velden has a warm and nearly Mediterranean climate. It has a long tradition as a spa for tourists, seeking for recreation.

From Italy/Villach and from Vienna: via motor-way A2 “Südautobahn” From Salzburg/Munich: via motor-way A10 “Tauernautobahn” Please use motor-way exit “Velden West” till traffic circle, at traffic circle use exit direction “Zentrum Velden”.
Travelling by train:
From Vienna: via Semmering - St. Veit - Klagenfurt - Velden
From Germany: via Salzburg - Villach - Velden
From Italy: via Udine - Villach - Velden
Travelling by plane:
Air connections from Vienna, Cologne/Bonn, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Berlin and Hamburg to Klagenfurt (KLU).
Parking:
The Casineum parking garage is at the delegate’s disposal. A daily maximum of EUR 2,00 will be charged. The ticket voiding will be done at the conference office in the Casineum.
For electric cars are 2 separate charging stations available in first basement floor of the garage.
